I took my friend and hubby out last night to see Black Milk and DJ House Shoes at SOBs last night. Since we are grown, rusty and employed we only got to sit through House Shoes' set. It was kind of awkward watching a DJ in a concert setting where the music leads to a mellow head bob. I'm sure House Shoes' tribute to Dilla was much more appreciated the cozy dining area far stage right. Still, I had a good time and we all felt pretty "right" after a few cocktails of beatz and booze.
